About this profile
IT5 is a trapezoidal box-rib profile: square-shouldered ribs separated by flat pans. The result reads as a series of crisp parallel lines rather than a soft wave, which is why it is frequently specified on newer residential builds, shops and light commercial units where the roof is visible and forms part of the architecture. The flat pans also present colour more evenly than a curved profile, so coloured finishes tend to look more deliberate on IT5 than on corrugated.
